What qualifications do you need to apply for a teaching job in UAE:
UAE has strict eligibility requirements that you must meet before you can apply for a teaching job here. The American University of Emirates also requires candidates to fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying.
The applicant must have a minimum qualification of a bachelor’s degree or a 4-year university degree or higher in the required field.
Other conditions include:
- A clean criminal clearance record
- A medical fitness report from the UAE
- Original of educational certificates
Attested certificates in case the educator has graduated from a university outside the UAE. Attestation by the relevant Ministry as well as the embassy of that country. Private schools and universities always send the documents to the Ministry of Education for approval.
The American University of Emirates needs you to have at least 2 years prior teaching experience in the relevant field that you are applying for. Any other requirements can be seen in the job description.
